THREE BELIEFS- A GUIDE FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE CATHOLICS ON END-OF-LIFE DECISIONS Thursday, March 28th 6:30 PM-8:00PM St. Lawrence Church, Parish Library What does the Catholic Church say about end of life care? Why do I need a health care proxy? What is considered ordinary care? When may medical therapies, procedures, equipment and the like be withheld or withdrawn from a patient? What can a person do to ensure that their wishes and their religious beliefs are respected by their family, medical personnel and the courts? Marc Guillemette, Director Catholic Identity at Catholic Medical Center, will discuss church teaching on the stewardship of life and making moral decision on medical treatment at the end of life. The handout guide, Three Beliefs will provide forms and instructions, and there will be an opportunity for questions.
