OCIA (formerly known as RCIA)
What is it? What does it mean?
You’ve probably heard the acronym: “OCIA” and wondered what it’s all about. If so, you are not alone. OCIA stands for the “Order of Christian Initiation of Adults”.
It is for people who are not baptized, who want to learn about the Catholic faith.
It is for baptized Christians from other faiths interested in becoming Catholic.
It is for Catholics who have been baptized and would like to prepare for the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
We meet on Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Parish Library. For more information please contact Deacon Geoff Ashman at [email protected]
